Ending the epidemic... 

ALFA's Education Department seeks to reduce the risk of HIV transmission through education, by addressing HIV prevention, risk reduction, negative stigma, and testing.  The Education Department provides the following services:

• Free, confidential, rapid HIV testing and counseling with results in 20 minutes to anyone
• Tailored HIV education programs with a focus on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered (LGBT) community and African American and Latino men, women, and youth. 
• Community programming providing HIV information and education to individuals and families in churches, schools, community centers, prisons, substance abuse and mental health, and colleges and universities.
